In the quest of happiness and peace, one strives hard to accumulate wealth and worthiness which can give him momentary happiness; however, the eternal and true happiness does not lie in materialistic objects as these are perishable in nature. True happiness and enlightenment can only be achieved by realizing God. God is the only Param Satya (the ultimate truth or “Satya”) in this world which is constant in all times.
Satya cannot be realized from outside worldly objects as it lies within ourself. With the blessing of divine, we meets “ Sadguru”, who guides us to realize Satya fulfilling our ultimate objective of freedom from birth/rebirth cycle.
Thus, the ultimate objective of Paramhans Satyarthi Mission(“PSM”) is to facilitate realization of Satya and provide eternal peace and happiness to the mankind afflicted with sufferings of world as i.e Adhibhautika (external or due to nature), Adhyatmika (Internal due to emotions, perceptions etc.) and Ahidaivika (divine and celestial, out of human control) as classified in our scriptures.
The foundation of mission is based on meditation (Tapasya), sacrifice(Tyag), devotion (Bhakti) and knowledge(Gyan). The teachings of the mission have been derived from the knowledge of Paramhansa Marg which is centuries old, transferred by Guru Sishya Parampara. The inspiration of Shri Shri Brahmanishth, Brahmakshotriya Paramhans Shri Swami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj for welfare of humanity is the driving force of the mission. The book of knowledge by Rajyogacharya Shri Paramhans Swami Ramanand Satyarthi Ji Maharaj is the soul of this mission.
The structure of the mission has been conceptualized by Swami Keshwananda Satyarthi Maharaj Ji to facilitate the practical dissemination of the knowledge to the aspirants. Maa Divyanad Satyarthi Ji is looking after the administration of the mission. PSM is based on principles of humanity( Manavta), verity (Satya), spirituality and non-violence. The Mission believes in “ Adwaita” i.e Non duality of Soul and Supreme Soul ( i.e Paramaatma). Its teachings are designed to be practiced in day to day life comfortably. In the mission, there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or social status. Here, every individual is welcomed and inducted as Satyarthi ( One who seeks to realize the Satya) by devoting himself to Gurudev.
The mission is determined to assist and help all the people achieve absolute conduct, purity and thus realize higher and deeper horizons of eternity. The mission promotes equality and humanity by following principle of “Vasudhev Kutumbakam”, meaning ‘the world is one family’. Paramhans-Marg is an ancient tradition involving absolute faith in the concept of “Adwaita” or “Aham Bhram Asmi “. In this system every aspirant commits himself to follow the teachings of Paramhans Satyarthi Ji Maharaj. The mission is based on three pillars to achieve ultimate objective to human life to realize “Satya” i.e Purity, Selfless -Service with Prem( Bhakti) and ultimately practice of Raja Yoga(Meditation).
However, the devotion and surrender to Satguru Dev is most important ingredient and foundation of mission and the key to fast success. It is also advisable to remain motivated and committed for realizing Satya by continuously reading mission’s and other relevant literature The teachings of the mission invoke devotion, dispassion toward worldly pleasures, and propound spiritual disciplines which are relevant for entire mankind irrespective of caste, creed or religion. The mission helps everyone who is determined to seek to realize the “Satya” with purity in life and thoughts, and aim to attain salvation. We all understand that realizing and appreciating of the principle of “ Adwait” is not easy in day to day life. Therefore, the mission strives hard to achieve the challenging objective of appreciating and practically adopting the teachings of “ Adwait” while being surrounded in worldly chaos.
The Paramhans Satyarthi Mission is based on the discipline of the five sense organs (gyaanindriyan). The thoughts of human beings govern the deeds of a man which make him superior or inferior. Param means supremacy, grandness and magnanimity which humans strive hard to achieve by using their mental faculties. However, with good luck when one gets the blessings of Sad Gurudev , one experiences transformation of thoughts, feels magnetic energy within and experiences several transitions within self. With the transformation of thoughts, his faith in Supreme Soul grows stronger. He is able to truly adapt to the philosophy of “ adwait” understands the true meaning of “Satya” and becomes Satyarthi, one who is determined to realize the Paramsatya.
Indeed, it is one consciousness which resides in every living creature of this world and the same consciousness is the Soul, which is the reflection of Supreme Soul. Satyarthi Family is a clan which believes that no man is bad. It is the karmas and social environment that makes him bad. Nonetheless, when one appends himself with Paramhans, he too becomes Paramhans. This mission essentially came into existence by the inspiration and guidance of Shri Paramhans Swami Ramanand Satyarthi Ji on 2 July 1985. ShriParamhans was a learned savant, who was dedicated to the welfare of mankind. An ardent devotee of Lord Shri Krishna, he followed the philosophy of ShrimadBhagwat Gita. He was born in Gosain family, and earned the title of Shastri in Vedanta and Vyakaran.
He studied Upnishads, Vedas, and sacred books of other religions as well. He acquired ultimate spiritual knowledge and propagated the message of peace and spirituality.Shri Paramhans Swami Ramanand Satyarthi Ji obtained Kaivalya Pad (Shri Paramhans Pad) of Raj Yoga from his mentor, Shri Shri Brahmanishth Paramhans Shri Swami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj after arduous meditation. Accordingly, This mission was set up in year 1985 by Shri Swami Keshwananda Satyarthi Ji Maharaj and is progressing by leaps and bounds with selfless efforts.
